Is it timeless?
Would this still be true 100 years from now?

Ekaterina Farion Foundation
The Ekaterina Farion Foundation exists to improve quality of life by helping people develop the knowledge, character, capability, and judgment to live well and help others do the same.
A life well lived is one where a person can say:
To be part of a family, a community, a place, a tradition, a story larger than oneself.
To see how the world works, to recognize what is true, and to hold complexity without fear.
To approach obstacles with patience, method, and creativity — and to keep going.
To bring something into being that did not exist before — a tool, a business, a book, a home.
To weigh evidence, consult others, and choose with clarity rather than react in haste.
To offer time, attention, skill, or resources to something beyond one's own needs.
To accept responsibility when the moment calls for it, and to serve rather than dominate.
To notice another's need and act with care, without needing to be asked or thanked.

Eight brief prompts. Your answers stay only with you — nothing is sent, stored, or shared.
It is the passing forward of character, wisdom, institutions, knowledge, compassion, and capability.
This inheritance is worth more than gold.
The purpose of learning is not merely to know more. It is to become someone who consistently exercises better judgment in service of others.
Learning should increase understanding, strengthen judgment, and help people live well and help others do the same.
Every major decision should answer this question honestly. Progress is not measured by novelty, speed, attention, or popularity. Progress is measured by whether it improves quality of life, strengthens people, deepens trust, and helps future generations live better than before.
No individual, organization, discipline, or technology can solve humanity's greatest challenges alone. EFF is built around principled collaboration — bringing people, communities, institutions, and ideas together to accomplish what none could accomplish alone.
EFF uses science, technology, engineering, mathematics, artificial intelligence, and quantum thinking as vehicles for participation, capability, and agency. The goal is not technology for its own sake. The goal is helping people participate meaningfully in the future.
EFF is being built around principles that are timeless, foundational, and universal. We do not preserve ideas because they sound inspiring. We preserve them because they continue proving themselves true.
Would this still be true 100 years from now?
Does other wisdom naturally build upon it?
Does it apply beyond EFF, beyond CCR, beyond any single technology or generation?
EFF is being built as a long-term institution committed to truth, humility, learning, collaboration, and stewardship. We are not trying to build something that depends on one founder, one moment, or one trend. We are building something worthy of being inherited.
By signing you commit — privately — to living by the Standard: timeless, foundational, universal. Your pledge is received quietly by the Foundation. It will not be published without your permission.
EFF is in its early institutional build phase. We welcome thoughtful conversations with educators, families, mentors, community leaders, technologists, philanthropists, and partners who believe in building something worthy of the future.
